The Thistle Restaurant, of Kearney, NJ, is famous for its delicious Fish n' Chips. The owners of the restaurant were seeking a website that showcased their Scottish-inspired fare and atmosphere. Using patterns and fonts indicative of this treatment, Firenze Software produced a colorful, content-packed website that fully satisfied the owners.
The site was primarily written in XHTML with CSS, while elements of Javascript were also used for a photo slideshow. Google Maps was also integrated into the site, making directions to the restaurant from your front door just a click away.
The Robotic Football League is a fascinating organization dedicated to football games played between autonomous and/or remote-controlled robots. The league requested that their website possess a back-end database capability to add members to the league and also to add robots, teams, and fields to the member's site profiles. Firenze Software fulfilled this request using PHP and MySQL programming.
